Mulled Apple Cider with Cranberries
Warm yourself with this lovely little drink that embraces the flavors of fall. Cranberries give the drink a festive red color that looks great in clear glass mugs or canning jars.
Mulled Apple Cider with Cranberry
Ingredients
- 4 cups apple cider
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup sugar or honey
- 2 tbsp brandy (omit or add as desired)
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- 2 whole cloves
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Heat over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- Remove cinnamon stick and cloves. Serve warm. Garnish with fresh cranberries and apple slices if desired.
Notes
You can substitute 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or 1/2 tsp allspice instead of cinnamon sticks.
